A lucky crowd in London got to witness the live, acoustic debut of Miley Cyrusand Mark Ronson‘s new collaboration “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” on Friday night (Dec. 7).

The track — Cyrus’s first since the drop of Younger Now, her 2017 album — embraces a Nashville-bred twang and a “Jolene” vibe, and the collaborators opted to strip down the production for an intimate performance in Ronson’s hometown.

Ronson brought Cyrus to the stage to sing along with the recorded backing track, but Cyrus took control: she started belting out the single a cappella while encouraging her fans to join her. She made it through a few verses before Ronson grabbed a guitar and started picking along, and the crowd sang every word back to them.
